2nd Annual
Lake Delton Youth Fishing Jamboree

When & Where

Saturday, June 4th 2011 at Lake Delton, 9am - 1pm. Opening and closing ceremonies Kaminski Park on Lake Delton. Fishing to take place on Lake Delton shorelines and on boats by lottery draw at opening ceremonies.

Participants

Youth in general -- girls and boys up to and through 16 years of age, accompanied by an adult, parent and angler mentors. Boys and Girls clubs, scouts troops, vocational and other youth related clubs, etc.

Jamboree Format and Themes

Non-competitive "Learn to Fish", "Catch, Record and Release", "Youth Fisheries Biologist", "YFB Clinics", with accompanying family free "Shore Lunch" themes. Youth will (1) catch fish; (2) record fish species & length; (3) release fish; (4) present results to WI DNR.

Cost

Free!! Wisconsin DNR Free Fishing Weekend. "Shore Lunch" cook out will be provided for registered youth entrants. Accompanying families, parents and guardians, bring your own.

Fishing Gear & Bait

Plan to bring your own fishing gear & bait. Some gear will be available.

Gift Drawings

Gift bags will be handed out for ALL kids and drawings will be made for selected gifts donated by event sponsors. FREE Water Park passes will be handed out to youth participants!
