2010 Art and Photography Contest
For 2010, the Stewards of the Dells of the Wisconsin River is sponsoring two contests for youth in grades K-12.
The first is an art contest; the second is a photography contest.
THEME
The theme for 2010 is again "The unique natural beauty of the Wisconsin River at the Dells".
CONTEST CRITERIA
Criteria for both art and photography contests include:
- open to all students in grades K-12;
- the art or photography must be the student's own individual work;
- the river or a tributary must be depicted in the entry;
- only one entry per student in each contest; and
- entry blank must be securely attached to back of art work or photograph.
ADDITIONAL RULES

Art Contest
- entry can be any size;
- all art techniques are acceptable;
- no signature, initials, or other identifying lettering may appear on the front of the artwork.

Photo Contest
- photo may be either color or black & white;
- any type of camera may be used;
- print may be any size between 3"x5" and 5"x7".

Winners' art work and/or photo with the winners' names might be featured in various publications, including the Steward's website. If you do not wish to have your child's name and/or entry featured, please inform Pat Andersen at 608-253-3455 when notified that your child is a winner.
HOW TO ENTER
Entry blanks may be obtained either through school offices or Kilbourn Library.

The deadline for submission of entries is 10 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010.
Entries must be deposited in the art room in the container designated "Stewards of the Dells - Contest". Home schoolers should go to the nearest school or the Kilbourn Library. Entries can also be mailed to "Stewards of the Dells Art & Photo Contest, N500 Mariposa Lane, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965". Mailed entries must be postmarked by May 7, 2010.
WINNERS
In each contest (art and photography) there will be one grand prize winner and two runners-up. Winners will be notified by Monday, May 10, 2010. Prizes will be awarded at the Stewards meeting on Wednesday, May 26, at 7pm, at the Kilbourn Library.
